Two Richland Parish men were handed prison sentences this week.
District Attorney John M. “Mack” Lancaster announced that Tyrone D. Johnson of Rayville was sentenced on June 22 to 23 years in prison by Judge Terry Doughty.
Johnson pled guilty on April 29, 2016 to distribution of methamphetamine.
Also sentenced on June 22, was Donovan Harris of Mangham.
Harris pled guilty on April 20, 2016 to armed robbery of an employee of the Mangham U Pak It on February 16, 2015.
Judge Doughty sentenced Harris to twenty years in prison with five years suspended. Upon completion of his prison sentence Harris will be placed on five years felony probation and he was ordered to pay $6,500 to Mangham U Pak It.
